Pizza and rounders in the park!

By | Archive | No Comments

The CJLD Committee’s Sports Representative Sabrina Richards cordially invites you to join us for a spot of rounders in the park.

The games will be open to everyone, it does not matter how good you are, it is about having fun and socialising. You do not need to organise a team, this will be done on the day and we will be mixing the players up to give us all a chance to meet new people.

This event is completely FREE all you need to do is to turn up with some appropriate footwear!

WHAT: Rounders

WHERE: Jesus Green

WHEN: Wednesday 3 September 2014

TIME: 6pm onwards

We will be providing FREE PIZZA to all of our attendees and other refreshments.

If you would like to register your interest in this event, please email Sabrina with your pizza preferences at sabrina.richards@taylorvinters.com. If you have an allergy i.e. wheat intolerance or you are a vegetarian – please make this very clear in your email.

Please email Sabrina prior to close of business on Friday 29 August 2014 – so that we can ensure that we have got everyone’s orders. If you email after this date we cannot guarantee that your order will have been included.

The event will be limited to the first 40 people who respond with interest, your place will be reserved when you send your email in accordance with the procedure above.

This event will of course be weather dependent and in the event that the skies decide to open we will be seeking shelter in the pubs/bars around Jesus Green/Midsummer Common. We will of course let you know and keep you updated closer to the time.

CJLD Charity Ball – UPDATE

We have now checked with the venue and they are confident that the Ball will be unaffected by today’s events and that there will be a warm welcome awaiting guests on Saturday evening. In the words of Freddie Mercury “The show must go on” and what a show we’ve got lined up.

We have various entertainments booked for the night alongside our marvelous band. We have been very lucky and secured some top end sponsorship so there will be an extensive range or raffle prizes available on the night, there is talk of Aston Martin, Apple, Bang & Olufsen prizes amongst many more. The tickets will be sold on the night and drawn after the meal please be aware there will be fundraising happening on the night.

We are sure there will be more than enough fun at the ball itself, however if you would like to continue the party you can book queue jump entrance to Vodka Revolution (just across the road) by buying a ticket here, all entrants to be there before 12:30 and you must make them aware you have been to the ball. www.revolutioncambridge.fatsoma.com

Please don’t forget to bring your ticket along with you.  We look forward to seeing you on the night.
